Change Power, Sleep, Shutdown Settings : Power Options

Power Options Allows you to edit and change battery settings, what power button does, sleep, shut down, and hibernate settings to improve your computer’s performance. You can select an existing best performance power plan or create a new customized plan with Power Mode.

How to find Power options on a Desktop?

To find it on your Windows device, Follow the steps:

  1. Press the Windows + X keys.

  • Select the Time of “Turn off the display” and “Put computer on sleep” while computer is “on Battery” or “Plugged in”.

There are three best power plans or which can be selected as per requirement and increase power efficiency and performance of computer device.

  • Balanced: Conserve power and improve the speed or performance of the device.
  • High Performance: Gives maximum performance access to your device.
  • Best Power Saver: The user can reduce the usage of power to increase the performance of the battery.
  • Change Power Plan : Start>Settings>Power & Battery>Select Power Mode.
